    you try brushing your teeth

Bad breath comes from multiplying bacteria on your tongue mostly, get a plastic sp[oon and scrape away the tongue each time you brush.

Chewing on a sprig of parsley (like the one that comes on your steak) will often have the best results.

There are tablets you can buy from your chemist that help bad breath. Brushing your tongue, as someone also suggested is effective. Try chewing parsley after you eat aswell, it’s really effective. Flossing is good also.

I have the same problem and I use the item SmartMouth. It works very well; never had a problem since I”ve started using it. You can get it at Walgreens, CVS, and other stores such as these.

Before you try drugs (of any type) you might consider that the major cause of Halitosis (bad breath) is tooth decay and tongue deposits. The common cure for bad breath is simply to brush your teeth regularly (after a thorough cleaning) and to use a tongue scraper on a daily basis. If that doesn’t fix the problem you should see a doctor and make sure that you don’t have a digestive problem before resorting to drugs.

Rinse with hydrogen peroxide. I know someone who had chronic bad breath and I told them to rinse with peroxide and the bad breath disappeared. Don’t do it a lot just for a few days and hopefully it will cure your problem.

    Listerine

Crest non alcoholic mouth wash with bad breath written on the bottle and crest tooth paste (any flavor) you can get ,but it needs to have baking soda in it, and remember to brush your teeth three times a day and floss three times a day. The gum called dentyne (any flavor) will also help. If you can afford it go to a dentist for a thorough cleaning so that way you can prevent cavitities and gum disease. You can get these items at Wal-mart or any other stores that sell it.

Well, a good thing to try is the Cool Mint Listerine PocketMist, which is like a mouthwash spray that you can carry with you anywhere. Just put two sprays whenever you think you are having bad breath. This can be found at any drugstore(CVS, Rite Aid, etc.)

Also, try avoiding foods that cause bad breath. Avoid onions, garlic, tomato sauce, coffee, and dairy products on days that you feel your breath is bad.

Make sure you always brush your teeth after you eat. Brush with a toothpaste that fights bad breath, brush your tongue to remove any residue that can be causing the bad breath, gargle with Listerine, and then floss. Bad breath fighting toothpaste and Listerine can also be found at any drugstore.

In combination, all these things should improve your breath.

    Good luck! =]

Brushing you teeth is the best treatment. But, this sometimes does fail to get rid of bad breath. So i would say buy some mouth-wash and floss. Other than that i really don’t know what to say.

Before trying to mask halistosis you must find the root cause of it.
Dentist first – to check for decaying teeth or any other problems.
ENT next – sometimes sinus infections can lead to bad breath or even allergies causing nose blockages causing open mouth breathing. Tonsillitis can too.
Do you drink enough water every day? Dry mouth causes build up of bacteria and smelly breath.
After eradicating all problems just ensure that you brush properly, floss regularly and use a mouthwash and gargle but once again – don’t mask what could be a health problem.

Bad Breath is usually a result of bacteria in your mouth, nose or throat or a digestive problem.
Start with your mouth. Tooth decay is commonly blamed (with good reason) but gum disease or gingivitis is a bigger culprit.

-Floss your teeth – try Glide floss if you have tight spaces (walgreens, osco, target)

-Scrape your tongue with tongue scraper (any drug store near the dental floss) or plastic spoon

    -Brush with baking soda

    -Gargle with Hydrogen peroxide

If these things don’t fix it see your dentist.

If the dentist can’t find a problem see an ENT (Ear-Nose-Throat doctor)

Finally see an gastroenterologist because it may be a problem in your stomach or esophagus.

Remember baking soda and Hydrogen Peroxide do not provide adequate fluoride to keep your enamel healthy. Drinking fluorinated tap water or gargling with an alcohol free fluoride rinse (Act or Fluorigard found at Osco, Walgreen’s,CVS) will provide some fluoride.
Xylitol is an ingredient found in some gum. It is a sweetener that can reduce the rate of tooth decay. Some, but not all – flavors of trident have xyletol – you have to read the labels.

    Good luck
